Plan "B" Organics™ Composted Dairy Manure

PLAN “B” ORGANICS®

Composted Dairy Manure is produced from washed dairy manure solids. It is brought to at least 135o (internal temperature) for 30 days to meet EPA composting rules. This process kills pathogens and errant weed seeds, ensuring a premium product that may be essential for organic farms and gardens. In all, the materials are composted, cured and regularly tested to monitor pH and salt levels. Plan “B” ORGANICS® Composted Dairy Manure can be used in gardens, landscaping, containers, and raised beds, for vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, vines, trees and shrubs.

Composted Dairy Manure ingredients: composted dairy manure, bat guano.

Directions for use in the garden and landscape:
In the garden: Add Composted Dairy Manure to your garden each year in the spring or early summer, before planting. Cultivate the soil to a depth of 5” - 10”, then apply 4” of Composted Dairy Manure on top and cultivate once more to mix.

For Tea Mix: 1 Tbsp. per gal. weekly during growing period, 2 Tbsp. per gal. weekly during flowering period (weeks 1-6).

Use our Honey Pot™ Extractor Bag

Top dressing: In week 2 of the growing season, add 1tsp. Composted Dairy Manure mixed with worm castings and/or potting soil as a top layer. Add 2 tsp. in weeks 2 and 5 of flowering season.

Trees and shrubs: Mix Composted Dairy Manure with soil from the hole dug for planting a tree or shrub. Use a mixture of 1/3 Composted Dairy Manure to 2/3 soil. Use this mixture to fill the bottom of the hole around the rootball and water.

Mulch: In early summer, spread a 2”- 6” layer of Composted Dairy Manure on the soil around plants and trees. This may help conserve water and protect against soil erosion. When spreading Composted Dairy Manure around trees, start roughly 6” from the trunk outwards to beneath the branch tips. Avoid any direct contact with the trunk.

On the lawn: For new lawns: put 4” - 6” of Composted Dairy Manure on the soil and cultivate to a depth of 5” - 8”.

To fill in patches: Create a mixture of 30% Composted Dairy Manure and 60% top soil and spread a 2”- 4” layer over the patch. Top patch with a 1/4” thick layer of 30% Composted Dairy Manure, 60% top soil, 10% grass seed and keep moist until the new seed has sprouted.
